Damian Luna has been playing guitar for 19 years. His first instrument learned was the violin, but ever since his was a little kid he always wanted to learn to play the guitar.  At age 18 he finally got the chance to learn his favorite instrument.  

His first genre learned on guitar was Mariachi music.  From there he discovered many different rhythms and strums from various parts of Latin America. Later, he discovered popular American music of the 90's.  Bands such as, Sublime, Incubus, Radiohead, Coldplay, Creedance Coldwater Revival, and the White Stripes became an additional part of his repertoire. 

Damian has played in many different bands of different genres including, rock, folk, heavy blues, and cumbia. Today Damian is focused on outlaw Country and Tex-Mex mixed with bluesy guitar riffs.

Education: Damian studied Music at New Mexico State University for two years. 

River Gamboa is a new Guitar Guide at El Gato Loco Studios with a broad experience in guitar from Jazz, Classical, Rock, to  Heavy Metal. He has played in a few bands with friends playing local shows. He owns up to 8  guitars electric and acoustic!
